FRIENDS of Caroline HOSPICE is pleased to offer the following support groups to the community free of charge.
Adult Bereavement Groups:
Ongoing program which offers support for bereaved. Scheduled as needed.
Individual Bereavement
One on one sessions as requested by the bereaved and scheduled by appointment. Bereavement Series ( 4 Weeks)
This 4 week bereavement series is offered twice a year (Fall & Winter) for bereaved families. Contact the office for details
Bereavement of Adult Child:
Grief group for parents of an adult child meets monthly on the Wednesdays at our office and as needed. Call for times.
Grieving the Loss of a Child:
Support group helps parents cope with the loss of a child from birth to teen. Meets by appointment at our office.
Stepping Ahead:
Support group for bereaved persons of 6 months or more to learn coping skills. Speakers every month on various subjects. Meets monthly at our office.
Caregiver Support:
Support group helps our caregivers cope with the demands of caring for a loved-one living with a life threatening illness. Meets monthly on the
4th Wednesday at our office. Please call to verify time.
Cancer Support Group:
Support group to help patients cope with the challenges of facing cancer. Meets monthly on the first Wednesday at 4pm at Keyserling Cancer Center.
Child Bereavement Groups:
Meets for 6 week session in local schools in Northern Beaufort County. Contact our office for additional information.
